40 athletes will qualify for the final steps as follows:

1. Athletes positioned 1-28 in the qualification standing
2. Athletes positioned 1-4 in a separate standing for the squads conducted on 15-16 July
3. Athletes positioned 1-4 in a separate standing for the squads conducted on 17-18 July
4. Athletes positioned 1-4 in the desperado standing

Athletes are qualified in the order A-B-C-D

• Athletes positioned 1-8 in the qualification are qualified for the final step 3
• Athletes positioned 9-16 in the qualification are qualified for the final step 2
• All other 24 qualified athletes are qualified for the final step 1

• 24 athletes will play 4 games starting from scratch
• Top 10 will qualify for the final step 2
• Athletes not continuing to the final step 2 will be ranked 27-40 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 1

• 18 athletes will play 4 games starting from scratch
• Top 10 will qualify for final step 3
• Athletes not continuing to the final step 3 will be ranked 19-26 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 2

• 18 athletes will play 4 games starting from scratch
• Top 8 will qualify for final step 4
• Athletes not continuing to the final step 4 will be ranked 9-18 according to their positions in the standings of the final step 3

• 8 athletes will play 4 games with the pin fall from final step 3 carried forward
• Top 3 will qualify for the final step 5
• Athletes not continuing to the final step 5 will be ranked 4-8 according to their positions in the standings of the final step 4

There will be 2 stepladder matches

Stepladder match 1

• The athlete seeded 3 and the athlete seeded 2 will play a one-game match
• The loser of the match will be ranked 3

Stepladder match 2

• The winner of the match 1 and the athlete seeded 1 will play a one-game match
• The loser of the match will be ranked 2
• The winner of the match will be ranked 1
